What is it?
VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a protocol used make voice conversations over your organisations private networks and broadband internet connections. Samsung offers a platform to suit many forms of VoIP such as; Samsung Proprietary IP Networking (SPNet), H.323, SIP (both trunks and extensions).
How does it work?
VoIP services convert your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet or network as data. At the destination it is converted back to an analogue signal for use with traditional telephony services.
Will it really save me money?
Organisations with multiple offices, whether it be in the same state or city, the answer is yes. How much do you currently spend on calls to your own offices? Utilising IP handsets or by linking your communication platforms to each other can offer considerable savings.

You can also share Voicemail and even your Reception between sites. Calls between sites are essentially free (dependant on data charges from your network provider).
OfficeServ Softphone
The OfficeServ SoftPhone makes communicating easier for anyone who travels or regularly works away from the office. It is a software application that runs on your PC, Laptop or PDA that gives you a full featured phone connected to the OfficeServ system back in your office. It works in the same way as a physical IP phone, and can be used at any location that has connectivity to the Internet.
