SIP or Session Initiation Protocol is a form of VoIP or Voice Over IP. SIP allows you to make and receive telephone calls over your current broadband internet connection. With the Samsung OfficeServ Family of VoIP and SIP enabled systems, you too can make these savings.
In most cases, SIP providers such as Engin, can supply you with real telephone numbers. This enables your clients who may not have SIP to still call your business on your SIP number. You can also still dial any number in Australia and around the world from your SIP service.
You can still keep your existing business numbers too. Our trained technicians can program all your incoming calls to still continue as they are now, but allow all of your outgoing calls to use SIP, taking advantage of the savings on your outbound call costs. This also allow you to have a fail-over should your broadband internet connection fail for what ever reason. The OfficeServ system will automatically re-route your calls via traditional telephone lines until you internet is back up and running.
